Toys for Tots

Rockford FFA and student council members spent the night at Fleet Farm gathering toys to donate to Toys for Tots. Everyone had a great time and we filled about 10 carts.

Holiday Stroll

We served hot chocolate at the Rockford Holiday Stroll and collected free will donations near the light show at the campground. We decided to give the donations Toys for Tots, Amy’s food pantry, and the army troops. On the day of the light show the weather wasn’t ideal, but all enjoyed it.

Baking Contest

At the December meeting, the Rockford FFA had a holiday bake-off! Students brought all different assortments of desserts. There were prizes for the best bar, best cookie, best cupcake, and the most festive overall. Makynlee Mahlstedt won best bar. Dillon Borchardt won Best Cookie. Brylee Ritter won the Best Cupcake. Lastly, Kyla Nagel won the most festive dessert. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to the judges for helping out!

Fruit Sales

The Rockford FFA Chapter is excited to share that we sold over $21,000 worth of fruit, meat, and cheese during our annual fruit sales! A big congratulations to the nine members who each sold over $1,000 and will be earning a belt buckle for their hard work. Thank you to everyone who supported us! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Alumni Supper and Greenhand Ceremony

First, we had a nice meal prepared by Marcia Carrol. Then we gave out Greenhand degrees and we had multiple families there. We also had multiple alumni members there.

Hayride

We had our monthly meeting in November before going on a hayride. We rode throughout town and had lots of fun listening to music and talking to each other. After it was over, we all returned to the school and had hot chocolate while warming up from the cold weather.
