Wrapping up a great school year!

State Leadership Conference

On April 14th-16th we attended State Leadership Conference in Ames, Iowa. We had a great time with great members! Below is a list of our accomplishments

  • Gold- Chapter Display, members include Maggie Buseman, Grace Muller, and Kynsie Lyman

  • Gold- National Chapter Award, written by Grace Muller

  • Silver- Chapter Scrapbook, made by Danika deBuhr and Grace Schmitt.

  • Bronze- Poultry Judging, members include Danika deBuhr, Grace Schmitt, Dillon Borchardt, and Christian Pierce.

  • Bronze- Greenhand quiz, Sam Boehmer and Quentin Peters

  • State Delegates were Wyatt Parcher and Kylen Enabnit

  • Massing of the Flags- Kynsie Lyman

  • State Band- Maggie Buseman

  • State Choir- Paetyn Reicks

  • Iowa Degree- Kynsie Lyman, Grace Muller, and Maggie Buseman

Baby Animal Day

On April 26th we hosted our annual Baby Animal Day! We were able to have chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, calves, goats, pigs, and a horse. We had all of the elementary classes come through as well as many high school students! It was a great time had by all!

John Deere Day

On April 30th, 5 Juniors and Seniors attended John Deere Day at their test farm in Bondurant. Kylen Enabnit, Austin Schriever, Wyatt deBuhr, Garrett Medlin, and Christian Reinke were able to learn all about John Deere, their equipment, and their careers!

Drive Your Tractor To School Day

May 1st was our Spring Drive Your Tractor to School Day. It was a beautiful day with a large variety of tractors driven!
