District FFA Convention

The FFA District Convention was held at West Marshall High school in State Center, Iowa. The Reporters Scrapbook created by Grace Schmitt and Danika deBuhr received a gold, 2nd place and will be advancing to State Convention. It will be judged at state in April. The Ag Issues team consisting of Briella Hinrichsen, Ava Koenigsfeld, Hannah Hillman, Danika deBuhr, Emma Pearson, Jaylah Schriever, and Brylee Ritter received a gold, 3rd place. They will be an alternate to state! Academic achievements were awarded to seniors, Hailey Winters, Chase McGregor, Grace Muller, and Wyatt Ritter. While the LDEs were happening the Business Session took place. Bria Ott and Kynsie Lyman were our chapter delegates that got to vote on the new district officer team. Grace Schmitt did a great job representing our chapter as a district officer candidate. Even though she did not get an office, she did very well! Her speech is linked on our Rockford FFA Facebook page if you would like to see it. She did a great job!
